Me es de harto gusto informar que Nine Inch Nails presenta Ghosts I-IV, su nuevo disco instrumental. Una colección de 36 tracks en 4 volúmenes completamente nuevos, independientes e incluso el primer volumen gratuito. Era de esperarse que con lo que Radiohead hizo, otras bandas intentarían algo parecido. Después de que Trent Reznor le declarara la guerra a los sellos discográficos transnacionales y 10 semanas de grabación el pasado otoño, llega esta joya legalmente descargable mediante una licencia Creative Commons, desde su página oficial o desde varios sitios de torrents a donde también entregaron el material.
Trent Reznor explica en nin.com, "I've been considering and wanting to make this kind of record for years, but by its very nature it wouldn't have made sense until this point. This collection of music is the result of working from a very visual perspective - dressing imagined locations and scenarios with sound and texture; a soundtrack for daydreams. I'm very pleased with the result and the ability to present it directly to you without interference. I hope you enjoy the first four volumes of Ghosts."
Y así pues, continúa la caída de la malévola industria y su compleja maquinaria. Primero en unos arco iris ahora 4 fantasmas.
